1. Just for today, I will not worry

It can cause you to be rude, impatient, and angry, creating a thin line of balance between your soul, body, and mind. “Just for today” means living the moment and not being too conscious about the future. 2. Just for Today, I will not be Angry

It can be taken further to reflect on the number of times you slack at work and not complete your tasks according to schedule. Give your best at work, to the best of your ability and be honest with what you do. It does not mean working all hours of the day and not creating time for fun and breaks. It only means that when you work today, give your ultimate best.
4. Just for Today, I will give thanks for my many Blessings
No matter how insignificant the blessings in your life might seem, it is important that you show gratitude. Every day, take a moment to pause and acknowledge the blessings in your life. Keeping a list of things you need to be grateful for, gives you the chance to be amazed at how much you need to be thankful for. Gratitude is one of the most powerful things a human being can have and give. It is a vital practice in personal development that requires time and effort to accomplish to which once achieved, can make you happier and kinder. Even for the basics, be grateful for the gift of breath, a roof over your head, today’s meal, and so forth. Once you learn to appreciate such little yet mighty blessings, you will begin to appreciate and improve the quality of your life. The trick is, do not focus on materialistic things. Pay attention to things that money cannot buy.
5. Just for Today, I will be Kind to my Neighbor and Every Living Thing
The last principle is about connecting with people and all living things. Did you know that you receive what you give? Every time you let positive thoughts control you, more positive things and feelings get into your life. The same effect is translated when you allow negativity to control you. Learn to be kind to other people. Kindness is one of the simplest things to give. Once you begin showing kindness to other people and all living things, you will begin to feel that everything is interconnected. Just be nice and kind to everything around you expecting nothing in return, and chances are, you will receive back tenfold of what you have given.
